Get Ready for a Great Day

a great day

Today could be the best day of your life! By simply altering your thinking and changing certain habits, you can create an impact on your day ahead.
Ready for a successful day? These five simple habits can set you up for a productive day.

1. Waking Early

Early risers enjoy numerous advantages. Getting up early in the morning increases your concentration. Aside from focusing on objectives and tasks with minimal distraction, getting up early means you’ve had hours to adapt yourself to the day fully. As a result, you’ll get more done and can enjoy your day without the rush.

Life is too short,” she panicked, “I want more.” He nodded slowly, “Wake up earlier.” —Dr. Sunwolf

And rising early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.” —Mark 1:35

2. Envisioning a Great Day

Let your imagination flow freely and liberate you from the shackles of your past. Envisioning a great day will make you believe in possibilities that may not exist. It could set you up to feel optimistic, invigorated, and enthusiastic. Yesterday is over, and today brings a new day and hope.

I have a habit of letting my imagination run away from me. It always comes back though…drench with possibilities.” —Valaida Fullwood

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” —Proverbs 29:18

3. Address the Elephant in the Room

Mark Twain once said, “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” Do not allow a situation to negate your entire day (or life!) by avoiding them. Such procrastination will lead to an accumulation of unresolved tasks that will eventually surface as a huge mountain to overcome. Face it, fight it, and fix it today. Tonight, you will find tranquillity and rest.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” —John 1:5

4. Execute Your Plans

While it is necessary to have a plan, it won’t work until you do. The critical difference between those who failed and succeed is following through with dogged persistence and hard work. Even the best strategic plans can fall flat without execution.

Ideas don’t make you rich. The correct execution of ideas does.” —Felix Dennis

In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” —Proverbs 14:23

5. Always be Be Grateful

If you are constantly gazing outside and wishing you had what others have, your day will never be happy. From afar, it may appear like the grass is always greener on the other side, but this is not always the case. You will find joy and happiness in everyday life if you appreciate what you have and recognize that everyone is different.

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones,”—Proverbs 14:30

Success is to wake up each morning and consciously decide that today will be the best day of your life.”― Ken Poirot

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” ―Psalm 118:24

They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”― Lamentations 3:23
