You Can Go Anywhere From Here

Go anywhere from here

It’s not who your parents are. It’s who YOU are that matters. The only thing that holds you back is YOU.

Of the world’s largest companies, 50% of the CEO’s come from poor or lower-income families. In fact, out of 300 of the world’s greatest leaders, 75% were either raised in poverty, abused as children, or had some physical disability.

I recently read that 80% of America’s millionaires are first-generation millionaires. They started their businesses or whatever; they worked hard; they worked smart. They earned it. They got there.

John Johnson was the great-grandson of an American slave. He was shy, insecure, crooked-legged, wore homemade clothes, and was ridiculed in school. But he became one the founder and publisher of Ebony magazine and one of the wealthiest men in the world. He wrote, “Men and women are limited not by the place of their birth or the color of their skin, but by the size of their hope.”

There are several Bible verses that encourage us to think optimistic, faith-filled lives.

Hope is that biblical concept that should be rooted in the core of every believer.

2 Corinthians 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new.”

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who keeps putting the strength into me.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”

You really can go anywhere from here.

Hope is that biblical concept that should be rooted in the core of every believer. David said, “Soul, why are you cast down? Put your hope in God.” That’s it. Put your hope in God. Nothing in your past or present limits your future. We can always hope! God will never disappoint us.

That’s why I say, “You can go anywhere from here.” I’ve been on many a long road—both spiritually and physically—in which I became so tired of the road, tired of the drive, I just wanted to get off that highway. Sometimes we live that kind of life. We are just done with that road.

Maybe family history speaks of failure. Maybe you’re in a going-nowhere job. Discouraged and tired.

Remember…”It’s up to me and God! I can go anywhere from here!” The road might be long, rocky, boring, dangerous, or unending. But He is with you. His word is your solid rock, and truly,

YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE FROM HERE!

MEDITATE

Are you living an optimistic, faith-filled life? What is stopping you from believing you can go anywhere from here? What mindsets or lies do you have to surrender to God so you can move forward?

STUDY

Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through him who gives me strength.

Reading Plan: Exodus 28-34

PRAY

Heavenly Father, I choose to put my hope in you. I give to you my past, my failures, and the lies that have held me down. I claim that I can do all things through Christ, and I can go anywhere from here.

LIVE

You can go anywhere from here! Step out of your comfort zone and do great things! The road might be hard, dangerous, or unending, but God is with you- His promises stand true. You can always hope!
