In his acceptance speech for winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, Ke Huy Quan said, “My journey started on a boat. I spent a year in a refugee camp. And somehow, I ended up here on Holywood’s biggest stage.” He also challenged the audience, “Dreams are something you have to believe in. I almost gave up on mine. To all you out there: Please keep your dream alive.”

Just like Ke, we all are given opportunities, and no matter our current or past circumstances, we all have the same potential for success too.

The key is to recognize that, with God’s help, we can create our future. And, if we’re willing to work hard and never give up on our dreams, we can achieve anything we set our minds to do. The only limits are the ones we impose on ourselves.
So, go out courageously and build the life you want. There are opportunities out there, but you must grab them to create your desired outcome.
