My mother once told me that the most fulfilling thing she ever did in her life was to have children. Each one was unique. Each one was especially loved. When you see a mother cradling a baby in her arms, it’s a picture of how tenderly God loves us.
In Isaiah 49:15-16, God asks and answers this question: “Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.”
David writes in Psalm 32:7, For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.
This is affirmed in Zephaniah 3:17, “For the LORD … will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
His love is not just tender; it’s the most powerful force in the universe.
Psalm 103:3-4 says, He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
God takes joy in us. He sings songs of deliverance over us. He wants to protect, heal, forgive, and save us. Like utterly dependent newborns, we can rely upon Him as the answer to every human need.
Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life just for you. And Romans 8:38 promises, Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.
His love is not just tender; it’s the most powerful force in the universe. When we understand that no powers or principalities in heaven or on earth can ever stand in His way, we can have miracles. For Romans 8:37 assures us that despite any obstacles, we are more than conquerors—why?—because of Christ’s overwhelming love for us.
God bless you!
