8 Who has heard of such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Can a land be born in one day
or a nation be delivered in an instant?
Yet as soon as Zion was in labor,
she gave birth to her sons.
On May 14, 1948, that is precisely what happened.
While there had always been a Jewish presence in their homeland for over 3,000 years, Jews had begun to return home in larger and larger numbers beginning in the late 1800s. The world’s conscience was finally pricked after Hitler murdered 6 million Jews in the Holocaust, and people began to recognize the hatred and insanity of anti-Semitism for what it was.
Hitler found a willing and eager co-conspirator in the Islamic Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al-Husseini.
As a result of his friendship with Hitler, Al-Husseini began work on plans to build his own gas chambers in Palestine in which to murder even more Jews. He also formed a Muslim force of soldiers to fight side by side with the Nazis.
While Al Husseini’s genocidal plan was derailed with Germany’s defeat in World War II, the Grand Mufti never stopped trying to kill Jews, later forming his own militia named the “Al-Jihad al-Muqaddas.”
Against that murderous back drop, the League of Nations divided up that portion of the Middle East to carve out a place where Jews could live in peace in their homeland, but the Arabs got the lion’s share in the end. The League of Arab Nations eventually wound up with 13 million square kilometers of land, while Israel only retained 23,000 square kilometers, bordered on the west and south by two hostile groups of Arab Muslims bent on their destruction. Even this tiny area, which is about the size of Palawan or New Jersey, was being denied them.
Nothing is more revealing than the admissions made by Arab leaders at the time of the true motivation for their claims on the Holy Land:
But why refuse to grant the Israelis the right to return to their own land, the right to live in peace and free of threats to their existence? Because of their hatred for the Jews, no Arab at the time would ever have willingly called themselves a “Palestinian.” Only Jews were “Palestinians” back then. So why this seemingly irrational intransigence?
It is because Muhammad taught Muslims to believe that any land that they have conquered belongs to them from that time on:
“This is the law governing the land of Palestine in the Islamic Sharia (law) and the same goes for any land the Muslims have conquered by force, because during the times of (Islamic) conquests, the Muslims consecrated these lands to Muslim generations till the Day of Judgement.” (The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement, 18 August 1988, Article Three)
(Note: this is why Jihadis continue to claim that they will reconquer Spain, the Philippines and other such countries which have since liberated themselves from invading and slave-trading Muslims.)
But will Israel’s neighboring Arabs numbering over 350 million ever triumph over Israel’s tiny nation of 8 million — which figure, by the way, includes 1.5 million Arab Israelis — and wipe them off the face of the earth as many of them swear they will do?
It would have been wise for the warmongers from 1947 until today to hear what else YHWH had to say through His prophet:
“Will I bring a baby to the point of birth
and not deliver it?” says the Lord;
“or will I who deliver, close the womb?”
says your God.
Isaiah 66:9
That statement should have served as adequate warning.
The God of Israel doesn’t do abortions.
“Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleeps.”
Psalm 121:4 NLT
