“Ask people to describe Mandisa and you’ll hear words like talented, gracious, beautiful, strong, loving and joyful, but the title of her new album offers an especially apt description of the artist—Overcomer. However, Mandisa sees it as more than her song, but an anthem for all and she’s happy to launch the battle cry.”
That’s the first paragraph of the About page of Mandisa’s official website and upon hearing her songs which I discovered through Christian Music blogger Ganns Deen, I would have to agree. This song has been an instant favorite of mine, the beat, the melody, but most specially the message whose core is: “Don’t quit, you’re an overcomer.” I think this song is a very appropriate music to start one’s day.
Overcomer, that’s what you are!
