Mr. I Know It All

1 Corinthians 8:2, “Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much.”

How ironic this scripture is for those who pride themselves that they know every answer. For people to claim that they know it all, even scripture, are sometimes the ones who stumble and fall–big time.

It is understandable to let people see you as strong in the faith through the knowledge that God gives you, it makes one credible, but to claim that one knows everything is foolishness.

Wise people continue to learn. They continue to seek. They continue to ask and receive revelation from God. A portion of scripture read hundreds of times continue to reveal God’s grace, mercy and majesty. It is impossible to know everything about God but we need to know as much as we can about Him and the salvation that He gives us.

Many people have devoted themselves to learning about God. Sadly, many of them, in their own fallible wisdom, end up contradicting the very words God spoke and disillusion others with them.

The bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:2, “If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.”

This is more important my friends. L. O. V. E. Knowledge is good but love is better in my book. That is why nee to strive to have more love than knowledge, it is wiser.
