In the previous articles, we talked about three ways on how to deal with family members, relatives and friends who are asking for our financial help. Now, let me give you a few more tips:
Fourth, Kung kaibigan ang nanghihiram, conduct background investigation bago magpautang. Tanungin n’yo muna ang nagungutang sa inyo, “Para saan ba yan? Kailangan ba yan?” Ganito, ganyan! Alam n’yo kung minsan, hindi naman importante ang ipinangungutang eh! Mayroon dating nangutang sa amin. Noong tanungin namin kung para saan gagamitin ang inuutang niya, ang sagot ay pambili daw ng costume ng anak n’ya sa program sa school. Sa amin lang, pwede namang manghiram ng costume. Pwede namang mag-recycle. Hindi kinakailangang bago o bumili!
Kapag madali kayong utangan, kayo na palagi ang unang magiging takbuhan! Kung minsan naman, pambili ng gamot ang dahilan ng pangungutang. Ang tanong ko, “Ano’ng gamot at ako na ang bibili.” Ang sagot ba naman, “Ayy, hindi na lang.” Kung minsan, niloloko lang kayo!
Fifth, Refrain from giving monthly dole-out. Iwasan ang buwan-buwang bigay lalo na ‘yung taong may kakayanan pang magtrabaho. Bakit? Kasi ginagawa silang tamad eh! Kabibigay ninyo, mabubuhay sila na hindi na kailangang magtrabaho! Anong resulta? Tamad! So hindi n’yo sila natutulungan, lalo n’yo silang pinahihirapan.
Ito pa ang problema. Hindi sa lahat ng oras ay marami kayong pera. May mga buwan na kakapusin din kayo at hindi makapagbibigay. Patay kayo! May utang pa kayo ngayon! Bakit? Ine-expect nila na ibibigay n’yo ‘yun, buwan-buwan! Ikaw na ang nagbibigay, nagka-utang ka pa. Ang sabi pa, “Di ba pangako mo ‘yun? Bakit wala ngayon?” Minsan, kung sino pa ang tinutulungan, sila pa ang galit ‘pag hindi ka nagbigay.
Sixth, Higit sa lahat, ipanalangin mo kung kalooban ba ng Diyos na ikaw ay tumulong o magpautang sa bawat taong lumalapit sa inyo. Napakasarap tumulong at maging daluyan ng pagpapala, ngunit siguraduhing ito ay ayon sa kagustuhan ng Diyos.
