Yes, the Book of Revelation, the last book in the Christian New Testament of the Holy Bible. You may want to read even just the third verse of the first chapter so you will be motivated. Check it out:
IMHO, many people are afraid to read the book of Revelations, which I think is a very big misconception. The Book of Revelation is a very beautiful book. Yes, I must admit that there are terrifying things in there, those that will happen in the “near” future. But if you believe the word of God in the Bible then you need not worry. The issue is if you don’t.
But I digress. If you would read the book, we would also see a picture of paradise, the New Heaven and the New Earth. It is most vivid. One should read for himself to really appreciate. It should also be read in a contemporary version like the New Living Translation which is available for reading for free online.
The book starts with a promise, the one in verse 3. It is a promise of blessing. We should not focus on how scary many portray the book is (by the way its not). It is a book where God shows us what is in store for us when He comes back. It is glorious! Its majestic!
And God promises a blessing to those who will read it and obey what it says. Think of it for a while. Will you defer reading the Book of Revelation and consequently, defer the blessing that is promised to you. All because you are afraid of what you will read?
My friend, what is written in the Book Revelation will happen. Its God’s word. It will not fail. Better read and receive a blessing than cower in fear. Its time to read the Book of Revelation.
