…the new life in the morning, for my ministry at CBN Asia the whole day and for having a family to go home to in the evening. Plus the privilege to have a hot shower before I sleep when I feel like it–that definitely is a great perk!
There so many things to thank God for and I believe that He designed us to be such thankful beings. Being thankful allows us to go through a difficult day much, much, much easier. It just makes life a lot tolerable–period!
It is so hard to meet sincerely thankful people. They thank God with their lips but grudgingly go through the day. I hope that I may not be one of them. I pray that every time I thank God it is because i am really thankful to Him and not just for others to hear.
The Psalmist said in Psalm 30:13, “O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” In Psalm 9:1, “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart.”
That is why I encourage those who read this that in whatever situation you are in right now, just be thankful. Paul said that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” If you love Jesus, every thing will work fine for you and is all the more the reason to thank God for.
