On September 13, the 38th edition of the Manila International Book Fair will commence. All the major book publishers and retailers will be there. Book launches, signings, meets and greets and promos galore for five whole days at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. You need to be there!
This is going to be the once in a year event where all the major Christian book publishers will assemble under one roof to offer Christian literature for all ages and walks of life.
One such is Church Strengthening Ministry (CSM Publishing) who is preparing a delectable spread of reading resources for you at this year’s Manila International Book Fair (MIBF)! Get ready to feast on a buy-all-you-can, read-all-you-can buffet of books that inspire, encourage, enlighten, strengthen your faith, and help you align your life to biblical truths.
CSM seeks to offer you something new again this year. Along with hot-off-the-press reads cooked up by your favorite authors such as Chinkee Tan, Grace Chong, Joey Umali, Ed Lapiz, and more, CSM is serving a fresh selection of titles from new authors on relevant topics such as lessons on manhood and how to deal with cyberbullying.
The CSM booth (numbers 21-26) will be located near the Hall 3 entrance or the front row of the first-floor exhibit area. But this year, CSM is also opening an extension booth on the second floor! Here, CSM will serve a smorgasbord of printed and audiovisual materials for kids and teens such as books, comics, videos, and related items in collaboration with HeartShaper (producer and distributor of Christian video resources) and other significant partners.
Aside from giving you affordable book offers, CSM desires to enhance your book fair experience through learning events specially designed for parents and teachers of children and youth. CSM will be hosting free back-to-back seminars entitled Reaching Out to Children with Special Needs and Bully-Proof: Approaches and Strategies to Bullying Prevention. These seminars will be facilitated by accredited speakers and will be held on September 16 (Saturday), 1-3 pm, at the second-floor Stage Area. CSM also invite you to attend its Grand Book Launch on September 15 (Friday), 5:30-7:00 pm, at the first-floor Stage Area.
