I just a attended a seminar on Simple Steps to a Successful Project Management facilitated by Jordan Imutan and organized by Salt and Light Ventures, Inc. It was one of the most fruitful seminars I attended, not only because it is directly connected to the work I do but because Jordan was such a great facilitator and the steps he provided our class were very clear and well thought out. His experience as an effective Project Manager was also extremely beneficial to us.
We learned that it was the first public run of this course and may I recommend to you, dear reader, to watch out for the second running by subscribing to Salt and Light’s mailing list at www.saltandlight.asia. It is an investment worth making.
I handle a lot of projects at CBN Asia and struggled greatly with project management in the ways I knew, which I learned on-the-job. It turns out that what I knew did not even come close to being called project management.
The seminar was fun and interactive. The steps outlined was very concise. We were also made to go through a project, defined by the people I was with in the table so that we can have a better grasp of the subject.
