In his usual funny self, author, wealth coach and motivational speaker, Chinkee Tan, just launched his newest book, My Ipon Diary during his #IPONPAMORE savings workshop at the Victory Worship Center in Greenhills last January 18.
My Ipon Diary is Chinkee’s sequel to his much-celebrated book, Diary of a Pulubi. While the first book focused on 22 money lessons on how to avoid going broke, the second is a simple way to use a savings diary to help you achieve your financial goals. This series is brilliant, methinks.
I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to attend the event with my wife. While I thought it was just going to be a simple book launch, it turned out to be more than I had expected. The five-hour event and the large venue should have given me a clue.
The event was also a public run of Chinkee’s #IPONPAMORE seminar on how to easily save P100,000 which he conducts once a year. I and my wife confirmed a lot of the practices we have been doing in the past but learned also new strategies. I hope to also be up to the challenge on Chinkee’s 51-week ipon challenge which is simply a motivation to save more. By the way, did I tell you that everyone who attended the seminar and book launch, over 600 people in my crude estimate, each got a copy? Both me and Emy got one too! We already gave the extra copy to a friend who promised to live up to the challenges of the book. Good for him!
Another highlight of the seminar and book launch is seeing almost everyone raising their right hand and pledging to begin saving more this 2018.
I will be posting a review of Diary of a Pulubi and My Ipon Diary in a few days so stay tuned.
For a limited time, you can buy Chinkee’s books online HERE. Its worth 150.00 each plus a 100 peso shipping fee but Chinkee is offering huge discounts on bulk orders through THIS LINK. If you and many others will save 80,000 to 100,000 from reading the books, I think it’s a no-brainer and a great investment.
